Who is e-Telmed
e-Telmed is utilized for video conferencing and videoconference-based Telemedicine consultation between parties in different locations. The solution includes seamless integration of a multi user video conferencing system with white board system, CCHIT certified - web based electronic medical records, practice management solutions, Personal Health Records (PHR) and direct links to pharmacies, lab tests, results and technical support.

What is an e-Telmed Network Physician
e-Telmed Network Physicians are physicians who provide telemedicine consultations to our patient base located across the country. These physicians are highly qualified individuals who have demonstrated interest in telemedicine, have gone through the e-Telmed recruitment process, and have had training in telemedicine. All e-Telmed Network Physicians are provided with all the technology, hardware, and resources necessary to practice telemedicine at No Cost.

What are the benefits to becoming an e-Telmed Network Physician?
There are several benefits that you will reap once you become an e-Telmed Network Physician

How do I become an e-Telmed Network Physician
An e-Telmed recruitment specialist will contact you and identify you as a valid candidate for this program. Physicians will go through an interview process that will determine whether they qualify as an e-Telmed network physician. Once you are identified as a potential e-Telmed Network Physician, we will extend you an offer to come on board.

What happens now that I am signed on as an e-Telmed Network Physician
e-Telmed will provide you with all the necessary software needed for you to practice telemedicine under our umbrella. e-Telmed training personnel will then begin training you on how to effectively use our system.
After training has been completed you will be eligible to receive see patients from the e-Telmed Network. At this point, patients looking for a physician in your state will be able to select you based on proximity, availability and specialty. All physicians will be filtered out accordingly and only those that fit the patient’s requisites will remain. Patients will be able to set up an appointment with the physician or log in to a virtual consultation if that physician is available right then and there.

Network Physician Compensation
All physicians in the e-Telmed, Inc. Network will be compensated as per our standard “Per Encounter” fee schedule. The fee schedule will be presented and discussed with you prior to your acceptance into our physician network.

Where do I begin the qualification process
Submit your resume and your request. If you are seen as a potential candidate, an e-Telmed recruitment specialist will refer your information to our Human Resources Department and an interview will be scheduled.
